Lobby Server Setup

How to set this up :

Installation :

• Download Dependencies :

  • Go to the Dependencies tab on the lobby setup's product page and click on "Click Here" to download all listed dependencies.

• Set the Server's Version :

  • Set your Server's version to 1.21.3, If you server is not on this version it is possible that some plugins will be marked as red when using the /plugins command ingame. If you want older or newer player's to join your server, it is already possible with the ViaVersion and ViaBackwards plugin that are included.

• Prepare Server Files:

  • Delete all your current server files.

  • Drag and drop the "Lobby Server Setup - REMASTERED" zip file into your server.

  • Unzip the file.

  • Upload the downloaded dependencies into the plugins folder.

  • Restart the Server.

• Verify BungeeCord Installation:

  • If you dont know how to download BungeeCord on your server, I am highly recommending you to watch this tutorial entirely : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uN7Hv5u6Uc. This video explains entirely how BungeeCord server functions, the recommended software is Waterfall.

  • What you need to do, is once you installed BungeeCord on your server, to create a second server that you insert the ip of inside the BungeeCord configuration. The second server you will run it on Paper-1.21.3 and add all the setup's file in.

Skript Customization :

• Unlike the gens setup, There aren't a lot of premade customizable functions. However if you want to change standard things, open any skript folder and change the available options.

• If you want to specifically change the links & ServerName, you will find the options at misc.sk

Plugin Configuration

1. Configuring the TAB Plugin:

• If you dont have the TAB plugin on your server (Or that you do not have a Scoreboard / Tablist) , This probably means that you forgot to install all dependencies!

• Open the config.yml file located at /plugins/TAB/config.yml.

• At the top of the file, you can change the footer and header of the tab list.

• To modify the scoreboard and layout, press CTRL + F to search for "Scoreboard" and "Layout" within the file, and make the desired changes.

1. Configuring the MiniMOTD Plugin

• MiniMOTD is already included in your plugins folder, so no need to download it.

• Open the main.conf file located at /plugins/MiniMOTD/main.conf.

• At the start of the file, you should easily find the "ServerName" section.

• If you don't see it, use CTRL + F to search for "ServerName" within the file.

• Replace "ServerName" with the name of your server.

• Log in the Server and use the command /minimotd reload

1. Other Plugins:

• For the rest of the plugins, find their documentation online and follow the provided steps for configuration.

• When joining you might have a message saying that you have an old version of FastAsyncWorldEdit, Please to not download the new quest because its going to break Worldguard as well as the Robbery Quest since its based on Regions.
